In the last season, we saw Mob engaging in an epic battle against Claw boss Toichiro Suzuki. The aftermath of the battle resulted in the emergence of massive broccoli, considered the Divine Tree in Spice City.
The third season will likely pick up from the events of the second half of Chapter 92.2 at the beginning of Volume 13. The growth of the massive broccoli has attracted the attention and the worship of different cults, including the Psycho Helmet cult. A yokai hunter named Haruaki Amakusa arrives at Spice City upon hearing about the Divine Tree. Amakusa is tracking down the Hyakki, an organization for spiritual monsters.
However, Amakusa is not powerful enough, so Reigen, Mob, and Serizawa decided to help him destroy the yokai headquarters.
